Nice ideas !! Since I use my box blade quite a bit and the box blade needs weight for most jobs I just chain a 8ft. text pole to the box blade and works great in open areas. In close quarters like my pole barn I just us a shorter pole. No cost and I get a workout at the same time. Lol

That is a very nice, clean weight box. I've always used a 3-point implement for ballast. I have an 1100# Rhino 950 rear blade on the 3-point. So far I've not had any problems navigating my pine forests with the rear blade on the 3-point. However - there are areas where I have to be mindful.
