Need suggestions on how to get the broken rear support seat threaded section out of the pivoting “ball” it is screwed through. Support seat broke off and the “ball” will just rotate. I tried to pinch it in place while I unscrewed the support seat but no good.
Suggestions and thoughts welcome!

I seriously doubt that ball is threaded. If it is it would be the first one I've ever seen. Give that ball socket a couple good raps with a 24-36 ounce hammer, or support the cylinder, put the nut back on flush with the end of the stud and hit that.

Sounds like a plan! I’ll try it tomorrow, thank you for the response!

Worked perfectly, 3 wacks and it was out!
Thank you again!
