Rear remotes for 5240

Strongly considering adding three rear remotes to my 5240. How should each one be set up? Strongly considering TNT and for third one angling blade among with other implements that require hydro hookup

One spool open center.

One spool with float.

One spool with detent for log splitter or a constant source of fluid such as an auger, hyd bush hog, hyd pump, etc.

The first one will have to be a double acting, the second and 3rd can be whatever you want. I agree with JJ a float would be a good second remote and probably for the 3rd. It would work nice for a sidelink. I don't think you can get a remote with detent so it is always on.

Yes, you can get a three position detent with a stacked valve spool.

This three spool valve will give you detent float on one spool and detent option on another spool.

I think that the OP is going to get his remotes & valves from Kubota.

I personally would get all 3 with the float function, but get at least 2 of them with the float function. You have a choice of double acting and float detent with the float function costing an additional $62 per valve.

Kubota list price for the 3 valves, all with float function is $1902. Complete top & tilt kit from me would be $585 + shipping costs.

If Brian's kit includes all this, then he has the better deal.

If you select all three spools with float, this is your cost for the valve from Surplus.

Need hoses , fittings and some QD's.
