Rear remote leak down

/ Rear remote leak down #11
Most of the time, (that I know of anyway), when a cylinder is isolated and has no movement, there is nothing wrong with the cylinder. Now IF Kubota gives you grief about the valve and will not replace or repair it and you do not have a float function or don't care about it if you have it, then a DPOCV can be installed to eleminate the leakage problem.

The DPOCV would be THE LAST RESORT if it were me.

Good luck. ;)

Brian , thanks for your reply. Could you please elaborate on what a float function is?

I purchased the Kubota kits for the rear remote from Messick's . Ill give them a call, and report back. Thanks for your help.

Float means that the cyl is free to move in relation to the ground conture.

You would have to push the lever in to a detent float, and the float would be applied until you pulled the lever back to neutral.

The float function for a Kubota MX tractor is a $62 option over the simple spring return to center valve. Well worth it IMO. ;)
