Looking for the Kubota Part number for the Rear remote kit for a B7510?

Also interested in hearing any comments from anyone who has installed the rear remote kit on a 7510 or a 7610.

Stu:

I have the factory remote on my 7610. Don't have part numbers but the dealer had a hard time finding it. He also installed and I did it when I bought my tractor. I like it, thought it was going to be in the way but its been over 3 years now and I'm used to it. Only one spool and is dedicated to hyd. top link. I do have a loader, joystick valve sitting on the shelf and thought of replacing it to get 2 spools going but hasn't been needed so far. Probably quite expensive to purchase outright as others have just went with non-oem valves for 1/2 to 3rd of oem. Check out some of the old MadRef posts as there is a ton of detailed info in them.

Here is a thread that has pics of the Kub setup.

Thanks Kevin!

Just trying to get some numbers to determine when I get my grapple if I want to go with it operating off a rear remote, or a diverter valve like the WR Long style.

This is a generic rear remote kit that Kubota seems to sell for all models that don't have a REAL factory rear remote kit - including the L2800/L3400.

I was a bit dissapointed that this is the only 'factory' setup available from Kubota when I saw what the setup was like on the Kioti CK20/25/30. They have nice hard lines that go to the rear - not mounted on the ROPS.

I do like the fact that the Kubota 'kit' has a nice mount for the ROPS so one does not have to come up with a way to mount an aftermarket one.

The price of the first spool is fine IMHO since it includes the mount etc. However additional spools are a ridiculous price (~$250).

I've got the exact same setup on my B7610 that khd pictured on his 2004 thread. I wasn't as smart about it as he was and paid way too much for it. It does stick out too far to the right and I tore the bark off a tree and scraped some paint off my boat before I got used to it. Since then, there haven't been any incidents.

Mine developed a problem early on because the fitting block, that attaches to the side of the transmission case to tap a hydraulic port for the remote, wasn't made right. A leak developed that kept the top of the mower deck a mess. The dealer replaced the block under warranty and all's been well since.

The remote has not seen any use to date. I originally got it with the idea of using it to power a dump wagon. However, I've yet to find one that's really suitable for this sized rig. May have to try to build one. Other than that, I might eventually get a hyd. toplink. If I had it to do over, I'd skip it entirely. It's the one bad decision I made on the 7610 buy.

A couple of other questions for those that have installed a rear remote.

How/Where do you tap into the tractor for hydraulics?

Do you use the 2 extra fittings on the block outlet cover?

I take it if I am going to install a HTL or Grapple, and use the rear remote that I don't need to tap into the return port on the side of the transmission?

Here is a crude diagram to give you an idea of how to add a remote;

PSDawg,

Thanks for the drawing!

I was wondering if you had a list of material you used to put together the hoses and fittings for your HTL cylinder?

I also sent you a IM.
