Rear PTO just stopped!

My rear PTO on my BX2360 suddenly just stopped working! I was tilling at a shallow depth and making passes over what was my garden area, I was about to make my final pass, and when I engaged my land pride tiller (0550), the rear PTO just didn't work all of a sudden! I have only about 12 hours on this machine. Other than calling the dealer (since they are closed Sat afternoon and Sun), any ideas out there what may be going on?

hmmm, not sure of your exact tractor, is it an electric switch engaged pto? is it manual lever? are you sure a shear bolt on the pto didn't break and that the pto is actually still turning.

Probably a stupid question but did your PTO lever maybe get switched to the front PTO position? Sorry.

I don't know Kubotas, but you never know...that might be the answer.

yup - sounds like you hit the pto selector to MMM only.

If you still have a problem, then take pto shaft off and verify the rear is turning fine since the shear bolt is probably snapped on the shaft if you dont have a slip clutch.
