Anyone ever see a 7' rear bushog type mower with a hydraulic height adjustment?

A height adjustment that could be tapped into the rear remotes on my tractor?

Seen it on bigger mowers, but not smaller ones.

Bush Hog builds a very strong medium duty model 287 cutter that has an optional dual tailwheel with optional hydraulic height control. Slipclutch is also standard.

Are you sure a 37PTO HP/ 47 engine HP can handle it?

I can't seem to find it on their website.

On edit: Ahh, I found it-requires 50 PTO HP. :(

The 50 pto h.p. requirement is to make sure there is enough weight in the new tractors to lift it and be stable. There are probably many tractors below 50 h.p. operating with the 287. However, at 37 pto h.p., with a 7 ft cutter in heavier material, you're probaly going to have to increase the overlap or increase height of cut even if your tractor is stable.
Are you using a cutter now? If so width and model?

I didn't see your tractor model and year.

I haven't bought a cutter yet. It's an '05 AGCO/Challenger MT285B. It's a 47HP cab tractor. It weighs about 6000lb with filled rear tires it has a FEL with 72" bucket.

here's a pic:

If you look on the Woods website under heavy duty dual spindle cutters it does list Hp suggestions under specs at the bottom.

Thanks, yes it does, but I believe those cutters are far too big. I think the standard duty models might work, but once again, no power requirements are listed.
