I have what I think is a problem with my three point hitch. This thing is extremely slow. It makes box blading just about impossible. When I first got the tractor it was twice as slow, around fifteen to eighteen seconds to drop from the top to the bottom. The lift stuck at the top the second day I had it and they adjusted it. Now it takes from seven to ten seconds to lower. The dealer says there is one more adjustment they can make but it will disable the Lift-O-Matic. Anybody else having this problem?

Mine take about 5-7 seconds to lower when there is nothing on them, it is normal because of the gravity down feature. If yours does this with an implement on it then you do have a problem, I think your dealer should be able to fix the problem with out disabling anything if not take it to another dealer and explain it to them. My dealer is great about working on my tractor and does a lot of the work at my house. Let us know what you learn in case we have similar problems.

Sounds like the lift-o-matic cable needs to be shortened up a little. Your hitch can be made to work properly without disabling the l-o-m. Your dealer's staff just need to figure out how. Don't settle for less.

I might piddle with the cable a bit. If I could get a service manual out of the b#%@&*ds I could figure out what is wrong myself.
