I have a B7500 and when I have something on the back in the lifted position it starts to leak down after a while when the tractor is shut off. Is this normal or should I have it checked out? It does'nt leak down real fast but you can stand next to it and hear it. It's always done this but I'm not sure if it's suppose to do that or not. The FEL does'nt do this.

I have been hearing, when I posed the question to my dealer about my BH and 4in1 leaking down, and was told there is an "acceptable" amount of leak down. This is highly annoying since I just spent so much money on a new tractor and don't have better hydraulics than my 1963 Ford 4000D. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
I do not know if this "acceptable" amount of leak down applies to the 3ph though. My 3ph does not leak down, so far.

Some subscribe to the theory that you should not leave the 3ph up when the engine is not running, making the leak down problem moot, but I'd still like my hydraulics, wherever they are on the tractor, not to leak at all.
