Rear Guard for B2910 & Rotary Cutter

I posted a few pictures of a guard I mounted on my B2910 yesterday. It turned out well and was pretty cheap to make too. Less than $20, using a SS tray/sheet I got off ebay.

I am pretty satisfied with the result. This would also work on the B2710 and B7800, so I thought I would post a pointer to that thread here for those interested, since it is Kubota specific... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Pretty cool! Do you get much thrown up from your rotary cutter? I can't say I've ever been hit by anything when brush hogging. If you want to make some extra $ you can always make up 3 more and go work at a driving range! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

No, actually not. But I have read reports here about such things happening, including one where a guy had a stick enter his back and come out the front of his chest...

So I figured, why not add some protection if it were simple enough to do. And these trays by chance were the perfect size... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
