Rear Blade

I have just signed by name on the doted line for a new B2410HSD That will be delivered on fri the 3-2-01.
I was looking over the info. for the B2410 and on the implement chart under the Rear Blade it says that it requires B2002 (Main Frame Kit) what is this and do i need it to use a rear blade.

What are you planing to do w/the rear blade..light duty or heavy duty work.

It seems like I remember someone making mention of that main frame kit before, but, there is no mention of it in my L3000 manual.

I asked the same question about two months ago and didn't actually get a definite answer. Now that I own a B2410HSD (and owner's manual), I'll tackle it for you.

The owner's manual, Implement limitations section, DOES NOT list a sub-frame for the rear blade. (Sub frames are listed for back hoe, front blade, loader, etc.). It does list a max. cutting width of 60" and a max. weight of 400 lb.

Looks like the B-series brochure is not correct about the sub-frame being necessary for a rear blade.

Thinks for the help. My 2410 will have a FEL and a mid mount mower. The blade will be used for snow removel and landscacing.
Do you know if the 2410 has auto bleed on the fuel system.

Your welcome. As for the auto-bleed fuel system, I don't believe the B2410 has it. However, the owner's manual lists the bleeding procedure only as: "1) Fill the fuel tank with fuel., and 2) Start the engine and run for about 30 seconds, and then stop the engine." This seems like no big deal, but I'm a diesel tractor newbie and may be missing something here.

Just curious, what led you to get the 2WD version of the B2410? Are you planning on loaded tires plus 3-pt. ballast for use with the loader?

I guess I typed in the wrong model it is a B2410HSD not a B2410HSE. Sory about that.

The 2410 does have an auto bleed system. As for the main frame kit, you need a B2002 and B2005 to have a complete rear blade assembly. Most dealers include the kit(s) in the price of the blade. The B2005 is the moldboard and the B2002 is the A-frame.

Thanks for the good information - that's what you get for listening to a new owner like ME I guess.

I'm a little confused about the whole rear blade deal. Are you saying that in order to get a complete Kubota rear blade assembly you must order two separate part numbers? The Kubota rear blade attaches only at the 3ph (no tie to the tractor frame), correct?
