2006 JD 2305
I have a jd 2305 and I am about to purchase a Midwest RB22 series blade. The only thing left to decide is, do I go with a 60" or a 72".
I wondered if anyone has tried a 72" on a 2305 or similar size tractor. My biggest concerns are, will the blade rotate 360 on the tractor, and will a full foot of width outside the tires on each side create too much side twist or torque for this size tractor?

Torque or twist is always created when cutting with one end of the blade; longer blade would probably be worse. However, rear differential lock helps and I guess 4WD would also help (I have a 2WD machine).

Rotating the blade 180/360 is something else. Wouldn't be much worth paying for if your tractor is too small to allow it to work. That's my opinion and how I sized my rear blade.
