I am looking for any creative ideas for mounting skid shoes on a rear blade. The problem comes in when you wear them down. I'm looking for an easy way to replace or add stock to worn down skid shoes. I have a Rhino blade and the shoes are around a hundred dollars to replace. Any ideas on modifying Curtis or other truck plow blade skid shoes where you just replace the skid runner and not the whole mount?

I use the Tractor Supply mushroom style skid shoes. They are cheap and omni-directional. They may not work for you if your are in particually soft stones/soil, but they do a pretty good job.
