Rear 3pt only rises with FEL....also FEL control question...

Only way I can get the rear to raise is using the FEL, assuming this is not normal? If not, what could cause this?

Also, the book and actual controls for the FEL differ in that left dumps and right curls the bucket. book says opposite should be the case, anyone else want to tell me how theirs works?

Shut off tractor and trace the curl/dump hoses down the the quick disconnect block and swap those two hoses, and while you are at it take the lift/drop hoses off also 1 at a time and put them back on securly.. If that does not fix the 3pt lift problem and I assume there are no more remotes in the power beyond path out of the loader control.. if there are, operate them and make sure they are in neutral. Could be a valve problem not letting the open center flow go to the 3pt after it hits the loader control. Try these things and report back.. If I am out of ideas we will get someone on here who is more experienced.

You're correct and the curl and dump are backwards. k0ua advised of the easy fix. I believe the two hoses needing switched are the two inner hoses on the block under the right floor board or it was installed with the two lines switched at the QD connections on the upper right side which are the ones you disconnect to remove the loader. Unfortunately, switched hoses wouldn't effect raising the rear which I believe you mean the 3pt arms. As k0ua advised, make sure are the QDs are properly seated for the loader. If you can give the members anything else to go on, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Got it, the url dump was a simple switch of qds, the 3pt issue was switched hoses at the block by the brake.

Odd thing is my manual does not agree with routing at the FEL stick, but all is well now regardless.

Usually the hyd lines are color coded with caps/ plugs for when disconnected. As stated the owners manuals are often not up to spec, but the service manuals tend to be much better.
There may be a dial wheel near your feet just above the floor mat to control the drop speed of the 3PH. It will sometimes get bumped and render the 3PH un-dropable. Look for it as you familiarize yourself with the new tractor.
