For 1.4K for a MH system, I'd rather see some young kid earn that raking it up once a year. I do find with my 2305/54mmm that it does blow the clippings a long way. I figure this fall I'll just blow the leaves into my neighbors... and he's down over the hill and through the woods /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
The tires is always an interesting discussion. I got the turfs on mine and I am very glad I did. They are much easier on the grass and still give plenty of bite in the mud. Sure they load up but thats what 4wd is for.
If you are storing it in a garage, I wouldn't think the heater is necessary even in Minnesota. We get to 20 below here and the dealer said if its stored in an unheated garage it will still start no problem. Of course, I'll believe the dealer after this winter.

If being stored in unheated garage, a block and a hyd/trans fluid heater (two seperate items) are useful when the temps hit 20 below & you want to blow snow the next morning. Wait until your 50 hour service to install the hyd heater though. Its cheap....at least by Deere standards.

I have a stand-alone, large 2-stage snowblower right now so I doubt that I'd go the snowblower route anytime soon (especially after looking at the prices). /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Given that the most common use for this unit will be mowing I'm fairly firm on keeping the turfs.
To make FEL and ballast on/off quick and easy I-Match seems like a pretty good idea - my only concern is compatibility with future 3-pt implements. Is I-Match my best bet or are there better systems?

I-match works well with Deere implements, but not all aftermarket ones. If you are handy, though, most can be modified to fit. Hooking up to a ballast box filled with concrete without I-match isn't very fun. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
