I can't help but wonder why. I bought a new 1966 Ford sedan that was quite possibly the worst lemon to ever come off a Ford assembly line, so for 25 years you just about couldn't have given me a Ford. But now I've been driving Fords for the past 17 years and am quite happy with them. Did you get a lemon, too?

But now I've been driving Fords for the past 17 years and am quite happy with them. Did you get a lemon, too?

The car actually runs great, and my wife loves to drive it. Mostly it's just that I'm used to the layout and controls on a Chevy. I used to have a Chevy car and Chevy truck, and going from the one to the other is no big deal. Now, however, I can't tell you how many times I've turned on the windshield wipers when I go to shift or flashed my brights at some poor guy in the rain when I'm trying to turn on the wipers.

The icing on the cake though is the dealer exclusive parts they use. I had to pay $80 for a new key and $40 for new wiper blades because for both you have to get them from the dealer. Mind you that was just the key... Not the remote entry fancy push-button thingy, Just a key! And that $40 was just blade re-fills. Not the wipers or the arms. Just the new rubber for the blades. I can't imagine what it's going to cost when I have to replace the transmission fluid that is a dealer only thing too.
