I 'm getting ready to hook up the hydraulics to my homebuilt loader. Looking at the control valve while seated on the tractor. The ports for the left spool are labeled A and B. The A port is nearest me. When I push the lever forward which port is energized with pressure?

I called Prince first but I am still waiting for a call.

Thx for any help.

On most valves, including the Prince, moving the spool in towards the valve body will pressurize the work port closest to the spool lever. Moving the spool out from the valve body will pressurize the work port furthest from the spool lever.

Remember, you can always swap the work port hoses to get the action you want from the spool.
