Whoever came up with the chain an bottle jack method I read about on here has my vote on how to remove the stump jumper. It works, plain and simple. Now, the jumper has a slight wobble, any Ideas on how to true it up? Doesnt wobble much but you can feel it at pto speed--thats why I took it off in the first place. It;s not beat-up and looks good except fot the wobble. Could a machine shop fix it? Don't want to buy a new one if I don"t have to. Are all blade carriers welded to the stump jumper? Mine is.
Thanks

Trying to tighten nuts holding gearbox to the deck. Stump jumper was a PAIN. I used Kroil, sledge, torch, bottle jack and chain as well as wooden wedges driven under pan and wetted for expansion, gear puller. It would not bulge.
Then I had an epiphany..... drilled a 1 inch hole through the pan to access nuts holding gearbox to deck. It was easy-greasy
