After reading that, I definitely would stay clear of models with that particular model of deutz engine... Sounds like some major issues with those motors..

Checked it today and it is a Deutz. I'm gonna steer clear of it, thanks for the input. Could have put myself in a bind right off the bat with it.

If the rest of the machine checks out, I would look into updating a yamar or kub replacement in it. If you can get it cheap enough, you could end up with good machine with a new motor. :thumbsup:

Most people that have them, know the factory motor is junk. Let em no you aint no sucker and get it cheap. :licking:
