Just got my B3200 last Friday and so far the only problem I'm having is this really loud rattling from the folding ROPS when I'm mowing.

My question is, anyone else have a fix for this?

Please don't suggest duct tape... Already thought of that.

Not sure how your ROPS compares to my L3800, but mine rattled also. Very irritating! :(

Can't remember if it's on the front or back but at the fold over point there was a nut welded on. I put a bolt with lock nut in both of these and tightened it. No more rattle. :D

Are you sure it is not the top link clip. I keep a bungee cord on mine. Some more rattles you will find is the black cover on the right fender, I glued mine down. The pull pins for the for FEL, I put plastic tubing on them. There are a few more but these I find the worst.

I put bolts into the welded on nuts on my ROPS and this stopped this joint rattling. M10 x 1.25 I believe but do a search to check, I got the info on this forum.

At my 50 hour service, my dealer put springs on the pins that go through the hinge which also stopped some noise. I can take pics tonight if it would help....

On my Massey, I put rubber O rings on each side of the removable pins that hold it together.

They take up the slop, and eliminated the noise.

The BX25 comes with bolts with hand knobs there. I'm sure your dealer can get you a pair. Never figured out why Kubota doesn't put those on the larger tractors since they have the threads to accomodate them.

That is a possibility, I'll check that.

I was thinking of vacuum tubing over those or heat shrink.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks Mac, I'll give that a look.

My pins on the ROPS already had the springs on them so thats a plus.

The highway safety warning sign also rattled like crazy on mine. I finally bought a set of ear protectors that have a radio in them, blocks out everything and none of it bothers me anymore. Kind of like turning up the radio in an old noisy car.

Had the same on mine and a couple of bolts in the welded on nuts solved it. the trick is to get them snug so it can't move and you're good. Slow moving vehicle sign is also highly annoying, but can be removed if you're not on the road. The one thing I haven't been able to figure out a fix for is if you have a BH they rattle like crazy at idle (something about the control panel), above idle its fine.

I know you said this in kind of a humorous way but you make a very good point.

I started wearing the radio ear protectors after I put about 100 hours on the tractor. By then I had fixed all the squeaks and rattles.

What got my attention was the neighbor, he was a farmer all his life and wears hearing aids in both ears. I figured the hearing loss was from operating machinery all those years without ear protection.

I now wear the ear protectors whenever I operate the tractor.

I purchased a set of those Trekk Radio ear protectors from Amazon.com last year to use when mowing on my Dixon zero turn. Much better than listening to the thoughts in my head.

A bad wife can put you in hearing aids.

I ordered a set of BX25 knobs to fix the ROPS rattle on my B2620. They should have come with it though.

Purchased the Hand Knobs last week from the dealer and that cleared up the rattling. About $11.00 ea. plus some shipping. Only thing I have to remember now is to lower my ROPS before I pull under my awning... WHAM! lol

Thanks everyone for the advice and ideas.

Thoughs knobs came with my Massey, I took them off, so I wouldn't loose them, DUH..... Anyway they are back where they are supposed to be, in the first place. It didn't take but 10 sec. to put them back.
