Rattleing noise

I have an old model 2310 that has developed a rattleing noise in the engine bellhouseing after the bushhog choped into the ground. Any sugestions?

Does your mower have either slip-clutch or shear-pin to protect the tractor PTO?

the mower uses a shear pin
