3-Point Hitch Ratchet rake

Has anyone retro fitted the ratchet rake to there three point hitch! If so

Yes...sort of...Do a search here on TBN ...for Ratchet rake and Ratchet rake 3pt etc. and you should find the thread ...it was within the last 30 days or so ...seems to me..

3 point hitch doesn't have any downward force so wouldn't that defeat the main purpose of a ratchet rake which is to rake?

you are right renkees - however you can use the toplink angle to dig more or just float over. I agree its better to have it on the FEL where it was originally designed for. However I dont see a problem being innovative by adding weights to make more downforce since some tractors that just dont have any FEL. You could use a boxblade and strap it on that since its already heavy for some downforce action.
