Ranger heavy duty model?

I have been seeing a commercial on tv for a new Polaris Ranger heavy duty. Has anyone seen these yet in person? How do they compare to the older model? Have they really beefed it up for handling weight or is it just new plastic with a selling ploy by calling it "heavy duty"?

I believe it has a tougher frame, power steering, and front attachment system. You can go to the site as I believe there a few more "heavier duty" changes on the HD from the XP. Other than frame/toughness, you can only get silver on the HD, a color not available on the XP.

I drove the HD yesterday. THe power steering is quite impressive but all of the 2009 Rangers steer better than the previous models. But that power steering takes it to the next level.

Its expensive but I suspect Polaris will sell a bunch. If my dealer can get the cab components I want I make make the trade very soon.

I recall all '09 Rangers are to ride better than previous models which were not bad to start with. As mentioned, the HD has power steering, a front attachment capable of lifting 500 lbs., and self-leveling shocks to even out the Ranger when loaded. I think it is also about $2k more than the XP. I have only seen pictures of them, but I think they do look better than the 2008 models.

Almost forgot, I believe they have changed the seating, the pedals, and it has tilt steering all to provide more creature comfort. Plus they have added alot more storage space.

I have never been a fan of Polaris, but the '09 Rangers have definitely gotten my attention. I'd love to own one .
