My Lil Satoh Buck S470 tractor. K3B diesel, ran out of fuel yesterday. I believe I will need to bleed the fuel line (?) , or crack a fitting (?) , or prime the fuel pump (?)... Problem for me is I am not sure how to do it. Any help / suggestions would be mucho appreciated.

loosen the front screw above the fuel filter till fuel begins to run out, then retighten. Then loosen the big screw at the fuel pump (the one in the hole in mesh side panel) until fuel runs out with no air bubbles, then retighten. That should do it.

You may need to crack the lines at the injectors if the above post does not do it.

The 2 times I ran my beaver out, it ran very crappy for a while till it finally cleared out. Did the bleeder at the pump and even at the injectors.

My JD's dont have this problem but that is probably because they have an electric tranfer pump which fills the system up better than gravity feed like these tractors have.

Hey, it worked! thanks for the instructions / suggestions. All I had to do was open the little bleeder @ the fuel pump til I saw fuel pouring out. Also took the opportunity to add a new fuel shut-off (didn't have one before) and replaced the filter. Back to work...
