I have never thought of myself as a city person or a country person though I will admit I would much rather live in the country than in the city. Since I am close to a city I considered myself a suburbanite. Here is a screenshot of the area I live in. Would you consider it country or city?

That area appears to be 'country' but I've seen some areas that look like that almost right in the middle of Houston.

I you can take a leak outside and don't need to be overly concerned about people being able to view your performance you live in the country.

My Dad has lived in the same house in a subdivision since 66. He takes a leak outside. I guess water has become too expensive.

Uh oh, this thread is heading south.

City vs country people.... There's nice folks and idiots in both camps, lol. I grew up in the heart of New York City, but thankfully now live on 10 acres of woods in Michigan. My experience: City folks are impatient and harsh, but generally pretty smart. Rural folks are usually kind on the outside, but often selfish and close-minded (hard to be worldly and accepting of other cultures and viewpoints if you don't ever encounter them).

Footnote: Rural states and areas have more people on welfare than urban states. This is just basic factual data.

Just be nice to your neighbors. :)

I dont know about that, I see much more food stamp people at the market in the big city than I do in the small rural community markets

What's the Big Deal, right? Everybody pees.

Passed a convertible parked on the shoulder with the pass door open with the bike one day and a lady stands up buttoning her pants laughing. They caught up to us at the next town gas pump and she is red as a beet in the pass seat. My wife just smiled at her and said, "Everybody Pees!" They laughed until they wiped their eyes.

Not very nice for someone (or their kids) to look out their window and see some old man peeing! lol

It always feels good to look down on a group of people, it make you feel so much better about yourself. You can ignore the stupid things you do and dwell on the stupid things others do.

You just nailed the haydufus...
