- Kubota M9000 4wd with loader and Hyd shuttle
I have got a new Kubota M9000 on order and am searching for the best 3 Pt hydraulic splitter that I can find for under 1,000 dollars. I talked to Doug at Ramsplitter this afternoon they actually have 2 models a 20 ton with a 4" x 24" cylinder and a 1 1/2" ram and a 30 ton with a 5" x 24 cylinder and a 2" ram. Doug says that they plan on the 20 ton needing 10 to 11 gpm hydraulics and the 30 ton needing 16 to 18 gpm hydraulics. The tractor has a 17gpm capacity pump and he says either would work but the 20 ton would be faster cycling than the 30 ton although the 30 ton is built out of much heavier stock so it should last longer. Does anyone have any comments good or bad about Ramsplitter or any other 3 pt hydraulic splitter out there. The 20 ton is around 600 dollars delivered and the 30 ton is around a 1,000 dollars. If anyone knows of any other heavy, nicely made splitters I'd love to hear about them and where I can get one.
