I have a 16 foot with a 2 foot dove tail car trailer. It has the ramps that slide into the back of the trailer. I'm pretty sure if I have to haul a car on it depending on how low it is to the ground, the nose of the car may hit the ramp before the wheels start up the ramp. I've seen where people have put wood, such as a couple of 2 foot long pieces of 2x8 under the ramps to reduce the loading angle. I also have a couple of ramps for getting the car up in the air for and oil change. I thought about putting these under the ends of the trailer ramps but they seem like they would be to tall. Anybody have a good plan or setup for this situation?
