Loader Ramp to increase height of bucket

Great idea! I can push driveway stone to a pile and then later spread it back out again.

I would build a dirt ramp or gravel, as a temporary fix, or perhaps berm it up with shoring if you want something more permanent, ramps can get kind of funky after repeated use, not leading a to good outcome..

Failure with a dirt ramp is more noticeable, where as with ramps, they fail, or teeter more expectantly, the outcome may not end up well, particularly if you have the bucket fully extended.

The ramp must be long enough for the tractor to sit level. Otherwise you may not be able to reach in to set the bales down.
