Rainbow picts

Here's one I saw while hiking Mt. Washington (6,288ft asl) here in New Hampshire.

Has everyone noticed that all rainbows are actually 2 rainbows with the second one dimmer than the first and with the colors reversed.

Dudley, here are two photos of rainbows taken by our neighbors looking over the lake toward our property. In the first photo, you can clearly see the double rainbow as you mentioned. In the second photo, I like that the lake was calm enough to provide a mirror image.
