That is awesome. A very unique forestry project that has a railroad adjacent. In the 1880-1940s most of the timber in AZ and NM was hauled on narrow gauge railroads just like this one. But of course the rails were removed once trucks were capable of this task. Many of the current woods roads are built on old rail beds.

Paper mills are closing all around this country due to less demand in the digital age. There are very few newsprint mills remaining for obvious reasons. But I guess the plants that make cardboard box linerboard are safe as long as Amazon exists.Wow, look at all that pollution.
I bet those plants will be closed and gone soon if things keep going the way they are going in this country.
