100-foot (30m) high trestle built to haul logs out after a forest fire, Washington 1906. Train logging was common in the early 20th century and the remains of a lot of these trestles can still be seen in the forests of the Pacific Northwest. More vintage photos of lumberjacks: http://bit.ly/3Yiajkc

Wife and I finished this tonight. Only 750 pieces, but still kinda difficult with a lot of similar colors and textures. We usually do a puzzle a week. Just work on them for a while in the later evenings while winding down and watching TV. Thought it was appropriate for this thread. ;)

Been a few tough weeks for NS. First the horrible wreck in Palestine, OH last month, then last Friday a derailment in Springfield, OH, no hazmat involved, and now, just as the CEO is testifying on Capitol Hill, another derailment in Alabama, again thankfully with no hazmat involved.
It'll be interesting to find out the causes of the two most recent accidents.

I started poking around and apparently there are around 1000 derailments in the US every year. Of course, that can be one wheel or 100 cars. Still interesting.
