Hey Guys... I hope I am doing this all right. I belong to Puffs Cigar Forum and know from experience newbies on forums have a tendency to post in wrong places and sometimes come off as rude although I am sure non-intentional. I am computer illiterate so please bare with me or do like my friends from Puff's do and just laugh at me :) I am use to it so it's OK....
As I posted in my New Member section, my name is David and I live Off The Grid up here in the Mts. of Tennessee.

I have a 5105 ..about a 2005 ish..John Deere tractor and there is radiator fluid coming out of the air intake. I noticed early last year I was losing fluid and assumed from seeing fluid in front of the radiator I had a leak. I put in a can of stop leak and it severely slowed down. I never did see exactly where the leak was coming from. I would check after I was finished with my work and never saw anything. Yesterday, I put in about a quart of water to top it off and drove it for 20 minutes and decided to check. It was dripping out of the intake. It doesn't seem to drip much once it has run awhile. There is NO water in my oil, at all. BUT, when I bought the tractor about 10 years ago, I noticed what I thought was about a tablespoon or more of oil in the radiator fluid. Someone told me it was residual from the factory's coolant. Yeah Right..:) I can only assume this is not correct and it probably is linked with the issue I am having.
The tractor runs GREAT...doesn't run hot, starts right up without any smoke from the exhaust.

I called John Deere yesterday and the fellow I spoke to had no clue at all. I am not the best mechanic in the world but I always said I could build a spaceship if someone gave me the parts and instructions. I could probably fix this myself if I knew exactly what it was I was fixing. A friend told me it was OK to drive this for awhile longer if I made sure to keep the fluid topped off and not let it overheat. Opinions???
I'll send a Cuban cigar to anyone who can help me fix this without having to haul it to John Deere. Thanks Guys..

In the engine where the air and water is close is at the topgasket . You may have a cracked head or a blown topgasket.

Thanks for your response DLTTRekkers.. can anyone direct me to an engine diagram or possibly tell me where this gasket is? I know you must not be meaning head gasket . I would take it apart myself IF I knew where to start looking. I am a jack of all trades kinda guy but have never once worked on this engine. I have rebuilt the loader arms a couple of times. Figuring that out took a rocket scientist...no joke.

I really do appreciate the help fellows. My offer on the Cuban still stands...:) I am gonna Google "5105 TopGasket" and see where that leads me as well..

Does it have some sort of preheat that runs through the throttle body?

I can't say I really understand the question. Please understand I am not a tractor mechanic. I really wish I was. My kids tell everyone I can fix anything but don't specialize :) If you will tell me what to look for, I will go look right now...Thanks wmasmith!

Is it dripping from the intake manifold? A picture of the leak would be helpful.

On newer cars there's usually some sort of preheat in the throttle body to help when operating in cold weather. It's an emissions thing. But I would look to see if there is any coolant hoses going to the intake pipes. As was stated a picture would help. Wengers shows an air heater. Hello Ranger,
Welcome to TBN! I just looked at my 5205 which is basically the same as your 5105 and I don't see any possibility for coolant to be leaking into the air filter housing. Perhaps you have a pin hole leak in the radiator which sprays antifreeze onto the filter housing.
