Racor installed on DS3510

After being inspired by the installs on here, finally got around to doing mine. Mounted on FEL mount, before the lift pump. Left the old one after the pump for double protection. Mainly wanted the Racor for the water separation (had a **** of a time with water and the old plow truck last year, do not want that again!) and the easily seen and drained bowl. Got the filter and housing for 50 bucks IIRC from Ebay, best 50 bucks spent for Kitoti so far!

You'll appreciate the better filter for sure. I just changed mine after 105h. Im running the 2 micron (s) vs. the 10 micron (T) however. I was willing to trade maximum filtration for a longer life. The filter elements are cheap anyways.

No, kind of looks like it though! Just two fender washers with rubber backing to seal the two tapped holes. I thought if click binds when I saw that perfect spot, but just do not have the patience to order them and wait! Might just have to keep some on hand now, or plan better!

I was thinking of going with an even finer filter when it's time to replace, good to hear it works.
