Can you fly home from Mexico? Do you want to go back to Miami and try to get home from there?

All the flights from Mexico were booked up.

So why do you want to go home?

I am in no hurry to go home but the ship docks in Miami Thursday and we were able to book a flight home Thursday. I would be happy to stay on the ship as long as possible but they are going to kick all of us off before Saturday when they start their next cruise.
At least the airlines are flying again as road travel home is next to impossible with most road blocked and no gas.

I just read that Tampa and Port Everglades(Fort Lauderdale) are reopening. Port Everglades will reopen today and there are three tankers offshore waiting to offload. Tanker trucks were filled and left at the port before Irma landed so they could refill stations as soon as the roads are open.

I finally got back home today after spending 12 days on a 7 day cruise. There are still so many flights cancelled that I was lucky to get one. Miami was very fortunate to suffer only minor damages as the only damage I could see on the way to the airport from the cruise port was several trees blown down.

Now I can get some tractor work done as my grass has grown knee high while I was gone.

Welcome home!!!! Do the extra days on the cruise count towards your total, or do you have so many already that you already max out in extras?

I heard someone say that the points do not count but that may not be correct. I do have the max so it doesn't matter to me.
