R4's on L3000DT

R4\'s on L3000DT

Anyone know why Kubota does not put R4's on the L3000DT's (and 2600DT I assume). An automated quote I went through on the Internet said R4's were NA. As everyone has said they are a nice compromise for all around use but are not offered on the basic L's. Dimensions? Simple minded people wanting basic tractors won't appreciate the R4's /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif? What's the scoop?

All,

Am now answering my own post. Email from Carver didn't exactly say why they didn't used to be available but:

Turf tires for the L3000DT are the same price as the Ag. tires..
R-4 industrial tires are now available for the L3000DT (Serial #53581 &
above, manufactured after 4/1/2001)

They are notably more money though.
