R4041H Suddenly Dead

Hey All, My LS ran fine today. Went back to start it - it clicked (relay sound) and nothing. No horn or four ways...dead. Battery tests fine. Main 50amp fuse tests fine. All other fuses fine. After about 5 minutes when turning the key the same relay sounding click happens...but no power to the horn or other accessories...completely dead...except for the resetting of some relay in the steering column which then does make a soft click after 5 minutes. Anyone have this issue or have ideas on resolution?

Possibly one of the safety switches? Make sure it’s in neutral, pto off, etc.

Check battery positive to frame ground (something other than batt negative) . Could be a bad frame ground.

If it tests well at the battery, check the ground cable like mentioned above. Also check the hot cable for internal corrosion. I wound up having to replace both cables and replacing the 100 amp main fuse due to corrosion and excess resistance. My battery tested at 12.87 volts, but 5 volts at the main fuse panel. Use boat or milspec battery terminals and 2/0 welding cable with closed copper lugs and heat shrink.

Did you load test the battery? Just a voltage test isn’t enough.
