I thinking of purchasing a KubotaMX5100 from R and S in Ct. They have 2 locations in Ct (Torrington and New Milford). Does anybody have any experience with this dealer or service dept?
Not stating anything at all about that dealer, but rental equipment usually takes a beating and is used hard and put away wet. I would be quite leary about buying a rental unit
I bought my L3240, new, in 2007 from Ruwet-Sibley, in Torrington, and I'm still very happy with the deal.
John Rebillard was the salesman and I was impressed that he suggested not selling me something that I wanted badly, but which he said wouldn't work well. He explained why he believed that a much less expensive attachment would actually work better, based on the specifications on my tractor and with the conditions on our property and my intended use. I came to realize after the purchase that he was 100% right and had steered me right at the expense of his own commission on that deal. I thought that was pretty outstanding.
They're a good outfit !! Bought my L5740 there and a bunch of Husqvarna stuff.. My brother is the service manager and runs a good shop.. We've also been friends with the Ruwets since the 40's...
That's great. You been friends for so long that means something. I think I will most likely buy from New Milford because it's closer to Southbury. I went to both locations and they really nice people and didn't mind spending time answering my questions.t
Thank you for your reply
I have not purchased a tractor but lots of parts and some service. They are high price wise on tractors but their parts and service are top notch as others have stated.
John Rebillard is a great guy and very honest. I have only dealt with Torrington location.
