I'm sure some might think their "Fancy Schamcy" ATVs would too.

I wonder how they cleaned it. I have used a 2" fire hose to clean out my dump trailer and it's not much good for gooey stuff. Requires a man and a shovel!

Don't forget that is 100 metric tonnes - 220k pounds. I would have expected the suction of the mud to cause them more grief at the outset. I imagine the poor operator in that cab as the excavator began to sink into that abyss.

He had a double line pull though, so wouldn't that be 440k pounds? (I am asking?)

Looks to me like he was starting to dig a pond, then pulled himself accidentally into the hole. Tracks would not climb it back out and when he went o push himself backwards, the boom just sunk out of sight. I would say things went south for him VERY fast.

How’d he get in such a hole? Did they dig that in the recovery effort and it kept sinking?
