quicktatch loader differances

ive got a quicktatch q that stumps me.i had the mx5100 hst with la844 loader.an i kept the hay forks that i got with with the mx5100 hst.the 7040SU has the 1153 loader.so we put the hay forks on the 7040 an for some reason they dont/didnt fitt the plate.so my brother chained the forks to the crossbar.chain came loose an messed up the forks bent the cross bar a tand.an jammed the quicktatch levers a tad.does my old forks not fitt the 1153 loader.

If everything is built to standard skid steer QA specs, they should be interchangeable. I have no problems moving attachments between my M5040 and my Deere skid steer.

thats what i was thinking myself.an what happened didnt make sense to me.but it has tobe fixed anyway.
