I have a very safe method for teaching people how to back a trailer. Tell 'em to back a small trailer that's attached to a riding lawnmower. An error instantly become a jackknife but nobody gets hurt.

The most difficult way to do backing is to have someone yelling instructions at you. "Now cut it! CUT IT! No! THE OTHER WAY!!! No, the OTHER other way, you efffin iddiott. Aren't you listening to me?"

If you do need to give instructions to the driver, simply point the direction the trailer should go, and do not tell him how to turn the steering wheel.
I did that also, just ended up frustration them :) And after all the B&M I just do it for them. Needless to say, my oldest and her husband couldn't wrap their brains around it so I've been storing their camping trailer for 5 years after they only used it 3x the first year. It needs to be sold.
Offset around a corner into a tight spot with little manuverability is the only "hard" one :)
That computer controled BS on everything is why I'll be sticking with my old truck and got rid of my newer stuff.

Fairly sure I'm not gonna set it up. I'm sure it has its pluses but I'll stick with old school.
