There is only one Q/A faceplate available through NH for the 16LA. It is $611.38 provided your local dealer is selling at list price. The weld on bucket plates vary in thickness, but for your loader 1/4" or 5/16" will be sufficient.
The nine digit number that starts with a 7 stated above is a wholegoods only reference number. Some kits still use this type of reference number but most do not. It should supercede directly to the one you need.
It sounds like the guy that spent $1100 either got rooked or is including the cost of having a welder weld the adapter on his bucket. All totaled you should have less than $800 wrapped up in this conversion not including any welding labor.
