My couplers are only 12 - 24 inches off the ground and having a receiver hitch high on a QH make it a bit harder to just hook up being they are a bit higher, on a tractor that your moving farm trailers around it wound not be a issue but trailers that are being hooked and unhooked from cars or pickups it nice to be able to get low with the ball and hookup rather then needing to crank the tongue Jack way up.
I do not move big farm trailers around so I知 using this one with my QH for loaded/heavier trailers( boat, pontoon, UTV, etc)and then I also bought a bucket clamp on hitch to move empty and/or lighter trailers when I mow.
