Quick hitch and FEL

I have a BX23 with the BX2751 quick hitch and BX2763 plow. With all the snow we have now, I have plowed it as far back as I can. I was wondering if I could drop the plow, leave the quick hitch on and install the FEL to move the piles back. I don't feel like rolling in the snow to take off the hitch, but if I can just drop the plow I would do it. I know to not do this normally, but was wondering if anyone has done this.

I believe the hitch will hit. Sorry thats why I got rid of my blower and use the loader only. Its slower but gives me the added flexability to push the piles of ice back.
