Hi:

I want to use a used Stihl 2 stroke oil container to measure out fuel conditioner for my diesel. I need 90 ml per 20 litres, so the size is just right, it has a scale, and it won't break when it hits the concrete floor like the MIA glass measuring cup will.

My question is how clean do I need to get the container. Ok as is with a bit of oil in it? Swish some Varsol and let dry?

I have no idea if there is a contamination issue or not.

Thanks

Pour in a few oz.of diesel or kero, shake for a few, empty and your good to go.

It'l be clean after the first use.. that small residue of 2-stroke oil in that big ole diesel tank won't amount to a hill of beans.

Just turn it upside down onto a paper towel or rag and leave it for the next time.

that small amount of 2 stroke oil won't hurt a thing
