Well look at it this way, hard won knowledge is not soon forgotten. Before I knew what they were, I didn't know either.

You got that right, thanks.

Well I called the Dealer and he told me what the rear remote fitting was ( 1/2" Pioneer 8010-4 Male Nipple ) and he told me that it wouldn't matter if one was a ball valve and the other was a poppett style. I'm sorry for all the dumb questions but I finally got it installed and now I can use my new Land Pride 3784 Rear Blade with Hydraulic Angle

I have read a similar comment elsewhere on TBN and another where matching ISO 5675 and 7241 couplers did not work.

I do not understand how the short activating ball type (ISO 5675) and poppet type (ISO 7241 with 1/8" protrusions on male AND female ends) can be universally interchangeable. The ISO 5675 just has a shorter ball end, while the 7241 variants have that longish protrusion on each end. I would not think an ISO 5675 ball type male connector would cause full fluid flow through a female ISO 7241, since it will lose ~ 1/8" of potential opening length due to not having that extended end on the male side. My guess is that anyone actually using various different ISO type connectors with each other is not having full flow. But still has enough flow for the task at hand.

But I can see where an ISO 7241 male could cause full flow in an ISO 5675 female, assuming the female side has enough ball travel to accommodate the longer male side.

As an added point for thought to this conversation, there are two variants of the ISO 7241-1 standard, the series A and the series B. The 3/8" male coupler OD of the series A is 0.68" and the OD of the series B is 0.75". They are not compatible with each other.

They are not interchangeable. His connectors on the back of his tractor are ISO 5675 or AG connectors NOT ISO 7241. Just because they have the poppet style instead fo the ball does not mean that they are ISO 7241 (either A or B) Some ISO 5675 also have poppet.
