Quick attach tolerances?

I'm looking at building my own quick attach. I am curious as to what the tolerances are between the tractor side and the plate on the bucket etc.? Is it a very tight fitting connection or is there some 'slop' between the two? I am particularly interested in any gap on the sides.

I don't know the type you have, ir sounds like it could be skid steer type . mine has about 1/2 " on each side with a angled piece at the top to center in last inch or so.

Thanks for the reply, yes I am building a skidsteer style for my tractor. Just needed to know how much 'wiggle room' to leave. Can you give me a better description of the 'angled piece'?

The top slopes down to the rear at 45 degees. The bottom rear protrusion with the holes for the locking pins matches this angle.

Side space is not vary tight, 1/2 on each side sounds right.
