Quick attach standard?

My 2006 DK45 is in the shop for a injector pump issue (among others) and I have a DK55 loaner while mine is being fixed. I wanted to use my bucket, since it has a tooth bar on it, but I noticed that the top hangers on the DK55 quick attach plate are spaced further apart than on my tractor...so the DK55 QA plate is too wide to fit in the QA receiver of my bucket My bucket looks just like the one on the DK55, but has a narrower spacing on the receiver/brackets. Has the standard changed or did Kioti use to make their QA plates and receivers too narrow?

My Branson is the same way. Much narrower than the aftermarket one on my Kioti. The Kioti will not attach to the Branson bucket. The Branson will attach to my forks, grapple and the Kioti bucket but it just will latch. You have to make sure it is centered perfectly in order for it to work.

So standard is not really all that standard. :laughing:

All I know is the skid steer buckets and forks from the skid steers at work fit right on my DK 35.
The SSQA forks I got and SSQA plates I bought to make a bigger bucket and a snow plow all fit fine

The SSQA "standard" plate is built for more then one size loader frame.

As can be seen on this plate there are two distinct mounting sizes incorporated into one plate.
Many times an OEM bucket on the smaller tractors will only have the smaller dimensions.
And as can be seen on the larger mounting portion of the plate there can be considerable difference in the spacing of the lower locking pins.

The problem isn't the spacing of the latch holes, it is with the width of the bracket on the bucket itself. My SSQA plate just barely squeezes into the bucket bracket; even a half-inch narrower, and the plate wouldn't mate. I didn't actually measure (yet), but I'm guessing somebody made some Kioti buckets (years ago) with a bucket bracket slightly less than the specified 45".
