Backhoe Quick-attach front hoe for mini-skid - any recommendations?

Need to pull a few small stumps and dig about 25-30 holes to plant trees in nasty rocky fill. Could rent a mini-exavator for about $400... Or spend $1200~1500 for a non-swinging QA hoe for the Ditch Witch, then have it around for other uses. (A trenching/stump bucket would cost less, but might not handle the hardpan here.) Only need to go down four feet max.

There are several models available: Titan (available on Amazon!), Golden Bell HB-10, Eterra E40 (made by a site supporter here), a handful of others in that price range. Plenty more at higher prices, but that's not an option.

Has anyone here tried/owned the little QA hoes? Performance, problems, support stories? Resale value? Very much appreciate any advice, on forum or by PM if info is sensitive.
