Quick Attach brackets- buy or fabricate

Is anyone fabricating their own quick attach brackets, or is it wiser to purchase them? I consider myself a pretty good welder, own a lathe and bridgeport. Are there plans on this site somewhere? Can I make them or is it cheaper in the long run to buy them. This question also applies to the quick attach bracket for my FEL.

Oh I would build them. They are very easy to build:thumbsup:. I've never built them for a bucket, but have built three forklift attachments for John Deere tractors.

I'm building mine. But I bought a couple bob tach repair kits for all the bits in pieces instead of trying to make or source them separately.
