queston on john deere

does anyone know why a john deere 757 z trak wants to die as soon as you start pulling the motion control handles in out of the lock positon and yes the e brake is off and it worked fine before i took the motor out to put new seals in it the motor runs perfect the pto works but now you have to be on the seat to even start it or let it idle and it wants to dies as soon as you touch the control handles

Ebrake is off but is the switch possibly sticking?

Sounds like a safety switch is stuck, bad or not hooked up to me.
